How Awesome!

I was reading my MOMYS posts, when Tina (the moderator) encouraged us to take the meaning of our children's names and see if they have anything to do with the plan of salvation. She did this because of the lineage from Adam to Noah. When interpreted it goes something like this:

Hebrew English
Adam-Man
Seth-Appointed
Enosh-Mortal
Kenan-Sorrow
Mahalalel-The Blessed God
Jared-Shall come down
Enoch-Teaching
Methuselah-His death shall bring
Lamech-The despairing
Noah-Rest, or comfort

Here is a summary of God's plan of redemption, hidden here within a genealogy in Genesis! Well, my children's names show the plan of salvation in a much simpler way.

Caleb - Faithful, bold
Camille - Virginal, unblemished
Grace - Grace of God
Josiah - God has healed

Because God is "faithful" to mankind, He sent His Son through a "virgin" to show mankind His "grace" in order to "heal" us from all our sins. I am assuming since God is such an AWESOME God, that you can probably see a plan of salvation in your children's names too!

Blessings!
